![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() With a World War as the backdrop, Runa's story brings us from the ocean, to the palace, to a coven of witches that are trying to prevent Denmark from engaging in the war. Between the two women, we are able to see this story play out both on land and under the ocean. I really enjoyed that this story is told from both Evie and Runa's perspectives. Of course I jumped at the chance to find out where Evie's life had taken her and to read Henning's reimagining of The Little Mermaid fairytale. I had originally picked up Sea Witch because of the stunning cover (my review is here) and ended up enjoying the story as well! So I was excited when Wunderkind PR reached out to see if I'd be interested in reviewing Sea Witch Rising, the sequel novel set roughly 50 years later. Thank you Wunderkind PR and Katherine Tegen Books for sending an advance copy of Sea Witch Rising in exchange for an honest review. ![]()
